My opinions on those relationships are that they are covers to distract us while they live there lives.

So let’s just let them live their lives. Why is that so hard?

We don’t know what they have promised their x spouses, or kids. Kids tend to complicate things. They connect you forever, even in divorce. They both love their kids!

I mean, I will always appreciate 2013 David’s love language of intimately confessing his admiration for Gillian’s acting and work ethic to an interviewer in front of an audience while she sat right next to him - which was somehow safer for him than sharing it with her one-on-one during the bajillion hours they’ve spent working together
